The partnership
Generation Life is an Australian investment product provider focused on helping people build, protect, and transfer wealth across generations. As Australia approaches the largest intergenerational wealth transfer in its history, Generation Life identified a structural challenge: Australians feel confident about leaving a legacy, but few have a plan, and many do not recognise the role of financial advisers in closing that gap.
Clarity partnered with Generation Life to reposition legacy planning as an achievable life goal, not an abstract financial concept. The objective was to elevate Generation Life as a leading educator and partner to financial advisers, turning a national knowledge gap into a growth opportunity.

Systematising impact
Clarity reframed the issue as a national “legacy gap”, using proprietary research to surface a tension: most Australians want to leave a legacy, yet very few have structured plans. This insight anchored a strategic narrative that spoke to both emotional aspirations and tangible financial outcomes, positioning Generation Life as the partner enabling regret‑free retirement and confident wealth transfer.
Rather than treating the research as a one-off asset, Clarity systematised its impact. The findings became the backbone of a flagship Reimagining Legacy adviser guide, thought leadership platform, and CPD-accredited learning resource, embedding Generation Life within adviser practice, not just campaigns.
Clarity then aligned earned and paid channels around this narrative, ensuring media, adviser communications, and targeted digital activity all pointed to the same promise: advisers could close their clients’ legacy gap with Generation Life. This disciplined approach created a repeatable growth system, converting insight-led storytelling into measurable adviser demand and sustained brand equity.
