The partnership 

Zuken is a Japanese‑headquartered B2B enterprise software company that helps large global organisations optimise complex electrical and electronic engineering design, and the manufacturing processes that depend on them. As Zuken expanded, its Sitecore‑based web presence had become costly to maintain and difficult to manage across regions, creating friction for local marketing teams and limiting the impact of global campaigns.

Zuken asked Clarity to support the OneZuken programme, which set out to define consistent global marketing messages and strengthen the brand. A new multilingual, localised website would be central to that shift. The goal was to create a UX‑led, WordPress‑based platform that unified the global business, simplified content operations for regional teams, and better supported lead generation and the sales process, while lowering ongoing technology costs and risk.

Reducing fragmentation

Clarity began with an intensive two‑day, in‑person discovery session at Zuken’s UK office, bringing together stakeholders from Japan, Germany, and the US to align business objectives, user needs, and regional priorities. That work shaped a UX‑led site strategy, information architecture, and design system that reflected the OneZuken messaging framework while supporting distinct local market requirements.

Strategically, Clarity recommended moving from Sitecore to an enterprise‑grade WordPress build to reduce complexity, lower ownership costs, and give global marketing teams more control. A custom theme, multilingual and localisation support, and geo‑IP routing ensured visitors reached the most relevant regional site. Integration with Marketo and a custom XML importer streamlined lead capture and multilingual content workflows, turning the site into a more effective, scalable channel for global demand generation.
