Crisis Council: PR crisis management for high-stakes moments
When a crisis hits, every decision your leadership team makes is judged in real time. For technology brands operating across markets, PR crisis management is about protecting reputation, revenue, and long-term enterprise value.
Crisis Council is Clarity Global’s specialist PR crisis communications offer for visionary technology companies that have outgrown fragmented agencies and need senior, globally coordinated support. We align leadership and execution, so your organisation can move from panic and speculation to confident, measured actions.
Whether you’re facing a cyber incident, regulatory investigation, executive misconduct allegation, product failure, or activist pressure, Clarity’s PR crisis management agency model gives you clear decision frameworks and disciplined execution you can trust in the boardroom.
Who we work with
We work with technology and B2B leadership teams to make digital a reliable source of qualified pipeline and revenue. SEO, content, paid media, automation and CRO are treated as one accountable system, so every channel has a clear job in your growth plan, and every market understands how it contributes to coordinated momentum.
The impact: How our PR crisis management drive results
Effective PR crisis management is measured in avoided losses and the speed of recovery. Crisis Counscil focuses on board-relevant outcomes, not activity.
Protect enterprise value and minimise reputational damage
We move quickly to understand the issue and stakeholder expectations, then build a crisis communications strategy that contains the problem early. Clear positions, precise messaging, and aligned counsel with legal and regulatory teams help reduce the likelihood of escalation or lasting brand harm.
From the first holding statement through to full narrative recovery, every communication is designed to minimise commercial downside and protect your ability to operate and grow.
Stabilise stakeholder confidence in uncertain moments
In a crisis, silence or inconsistency erodes trust. We design tailored corporate crisis communications for customers, employees, investors, partners, regulators, and media; each calibrated to what they need to know and from whom.
By giving stakeholders timely and transparent updates, we help you maintain confidence even when information is incomplete or evolving.
Regain control of the narrative across channels
Speculation fills any information gap. Crisis Council helps you regain control of the story across earned and shared channels.
Supported by consistent messaging and well-prepared spokespeople, we coordinate real-time PR crisis response to correct inaccuracies and keep your version of events front and centre.
The challenge: Why B2B PR crisis management is different
B2B crises play out over long sales cycles, complex buying groups, and highly networked ecosystems. A single mismanaged incident can stall pipeline and weaken partner relationships for quarters, not days.
Add regulatory exposure and sophisticated stakeholders, and the bar for B2B crisis communications services rises sharply. You must speak fluently to CISOs, procurement teams, regulators, analysts, and boards, with messages that are both technically accurate and reputationally robust.
Crisis Council is built for this environment. We combine deep sector insight with senior advisory experience so your organisation can navigate complex B2B dynamics with clarity and control.
The Clarity solution: Our strategic PR crisis management approach
Crisis Council is structured around a Now, Near, Next model that makes even the most complex situations manageable. We prepare and learn from crises in a way that’s structured and data-driven across markets.
Now
We begin by assessing your current risk profile and existing response capabilities. Our team reviews media and social landscapes, sentiment trends, stakeholder expectations, and any current playbooks or policies. The output is a realistic baseline: where you’re exposed and what needs to change before, or during, a crisis.
Near
Using these insights, we build scenario-based plans that define your core positions, key messages, escalation paths, and decision trees. We map critical stakeholders and channels, aligning language and timing with legal and compliance requirements.
This work turns reactive messaging into a structured crisis communications strategy that your organisation can execute with confidence.
When a live issue hits, we activate quickly. Our teams support command centres, create and refine holding statements, manage inbound media, and align internal and partner communications under clear governance.
We also provide executive crisis media training and rapid coaching so leaders can perform under pressure.
Next
Throughout the incident, we monitor coverage, social conversation, misinformation, and sentiment shifts using data-driven crisis communications tools. This real-time insight allows us to adapt messaging and identify when and where to lean in or pull back.
We provide concise, executive-ready reporting that links actions to outcomes: speed of response, coverage mix and tone, sentiment movement, share of voice, and risk reduction. This gives boards and leadership teams the visibility they need in the moment, and a clear evidence base for future decision-making.

The Clarity Global Crisis Council is a worldwide network of senior crisis management specialists and external experts who provide 24/7 crisis and reputation support. It brings together leaders from Clarity and trusted partner firms to deliver strategic counsel, preparedness and hands‑on response wherever and whenever a crisis emerges.
The Crisis Council is designed for high‑stakes, complex or multi‑market issues where you need senior, global expertise and rapid mobilisation - such as major data breaches, catastrophic incidents, significant regulatory or legal action, activist campaigns or reputation threats that span several regions and channels.
The Council operates globally, with core hubs across APAC, Europe, the UK and the US, plus partner agencies in key markets. This follow‑the‑sun model means a senior crisis specialist is available to support you across time zones, with local insight backed by global experience.
The Council can design and deliver a full 360° crisis response, including preparedness workshops, crisis simulations, digital and media footprint audits, social media disinformation response, stakeholder and media strategy, support around legal or regulatory action, and long‑term resilience planning across digital, Wikipedia, search and media ecosystems.
The Council is made up of senior crisis and reputation experts from Clarity, its Sefiani team in Australia, and specialist partner firms across the Americas, EMEA and APAC. Members include former journalists, corporate communications leaders and crisis consultants with deep experience guiding organisations through complex, high‑profile issues.
In urgent situations, the Crisis Council can be mobilised very quickly - usually within hours. Once engaged, we assemble the right regional and specialist experts, establish clear governance and communication channels, and begin advising on immediate actions while building a broader response plan.
We typically coordinate with your central crisis or incident team and local market leads, aligning with existing plans and resources. Where other agencies are involved, we define clear roles and responsibilities to avoid duplication and ensure all messaging, channels and stakeholder outreach are coordinated.
We support organisations of all sizes - from high‑growth technology companies to global enterprises, financial institutions, industrial and infrastructure operators, public‑sector bodies and NGOs. The common thread is a need to manage high‑impact, high‑visibility issues where reputation is a critical asset.
Yes. In addition to live incident support, the Council runs crisis preparedness workshops, audits digital and media vulnerabilities, designs playbooks, and helps you stress‑test governance so your organisation is better equipped for future challenges.
